Little Paradise has 2 X 4 sleeper cottages and 3 X 6 sleeper
cottages set in a massive tropical garden. Each cottage has its own
braai place (barbecue) and lock- up garage.
The cottages are well spread out, providing guests with their own
space and privacy. A sparkling pool is in the garden,
slightly set aside from the cottages, and well fenced.
The 6-sleepers have en-suite bathrooms, and the 4-sleepers have
shower facilities in the bathrooms. The units are comfortably
furnished; all have TVs, well-equipped kitchens and are neat and
clean.
Bed linen is provided, and changed weekly. The cottages are not
serviced daily, but this can be arranged if requested for an extra
fee. Washing can also be done by special request.
Each cottage is slightly different, so please look at the
slide show
of each cottage, to get a detailed view of our facilities. We will
advise you which unit will be best suited to your group or family.
There is lots of safe play space for children to play while their
parents relax. Each day the Marmot monkey family comes for a
visit and if you're lucky you will catch a glimpse of the Fish Eagle
reeling over the river. The gardens are alive with the song of bird
life.
St. Mikes beach is renowned for good surfing and swimming and has
always been the beach of choice for families. In season there are
programs on the beach to entertain kids of all ages. The beach
also features two beach-front restaurants, a café, an ice-cream
kiosk, and canoes and paddleboats on the lagoon provide families
with loads of fun.
The Shelly Centre is less than a kilometre from Little Paradise and
boasts a large Woolworths and Pick n Pay. There is also a tourist
information centre which will help you with useful information for
all the activities available on the coast. The South Coast Mall,
with a large Checkers and Game, is also within very easy driving
distance for all your big shopping requirements.
There is loads to do on our beautiful Hibiscus Coast. The Oribi
Gorge features a famous slide right into the gorge, and wonderful
picnic sights along the river. There is a crocodile farm and a
coffee farm to visit. Lake Eland Nature reserve on the Oribi Flats
features giraffes, zebra, buffalo and various buck species. Whale
watching, fishing trips and diving facilities are also available.
Sebenza Craft Village, and numerous other beautiful craft shops and
galleries are all within easy distance of Little Paradise.
